Releases New Webpage With Important Preparedness Information for Long Islanders
PATCHOGUE, NY - On Thursday, September 3, 2020, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) hosted a virtual Hurricane Preparedness Seminar via Zoom and Facebook Live with representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), American Red Cross, Suffolk County Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services (FRES), and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide Long Islanders with information regarding hurricane preparedness and recovery.
Congressman Zeldin also released a new webpage for Long Islanders who wish to learn more about how to prepare themselves and their families this hurricane season: zeldin.house.gov/storm.
