Rep. Zeldin Meets with Students with American Medical Association
Washington, DC - On Friday, March 10, 2017, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) met with medical student representatives from the American Medical Association. These students, three of whom are NY-1 residents, were visiting Washington, DC as part of an annual trip for Medical Student Advocacy Day. Topics of discussion at the meeting included Graduate Medical Education funding, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and the American Health Care Act.
