WASHINGTON - Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) issued the following statement on the death of George Floyd:
“The Minneapolis police officer who killed George Floyd should be arrested, charged, prosecuted and imprisoned for homicide, and he should have been arrested by now. I come from a law enforcement family, and I love our police, which makes me that much more disturbed by the actions of this thug officer and the inaction of the other officers present.”
