Second Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Site Opens in Riverhead

RIVERHEAD, NY - Today, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), member of the bipartisan Congressional Coronavirus Task Force, issued the following statement on the opening of a second drive-thru coronavirus testing site in Riverhead: 

“The continued expansion of testing on the East End is vital for our communities that have been hit extremely hard by this virus, especially those which are grappling with an increased population due to a migration from New York City to the East End. Ensuring Long Islanders have access to the testing and treatments they need will ensure we continue to successfully combat coronavirus and emerge stronger than ever on the other side of this outbreak.” 

The new drive-thru testing site is located at 300 Center Drive in Riverhead. Testing is free, but appointments are necessary. Those who would like to be tested, should call 845-553-8030 to make an appointment. 

Additional drive-thru coronavirus testing sites in New York’s First Congressional District are located at ProHEALTH in Riverhead and Stony Brook University.
